My sisters birthday

It's my sister's birthday tomorrow and I have made her this metal frame purse. It's not as risky as you might think to put this photo on my blog cause she doesn't spend much time in front of the pc. And now she's on holiday, so, unlike me, who's quite addicted, she won't come near one now.

It is the first time I've tried to make a frame purse. It's made with one of my own printed, recycled fabrics. I bought the frame from U-handbag. Great service, quick shipping!

My daughter, Moa, took this photo of some of her favorite objects. The lovely plastic tiara, the dolls towel and her baby blanket.

Things to do in summer if it's raining...

New t-shirt shop

I have opened a new Etsy-shop, Unni Strand. In this shop I will sell really sustainable t-shirts. The first t-shirts are upcycled, used t-shirts bought from charity shops with my screenprints on. Later I hope to have organically grown t-shirts too.

Working in the studio

I'm working in the studio. New totes are on their way. Yellow tote is in the shop now.

Jumbojet lanyard

I'm making lavender sachets. These two are in my shop now. There will be more later!

Something new

I've printed some t-shirts and will try them in my Etsy-shop. I have also been doing some research for ecological t-shirts and found a really good, Norwegian retailer.
So, what do you think? Should I do more of this?

Flowers

My daughter, Moa, brought me these lovely starry flowers.

My students gave me hydrangeas. Last year I had a class of only eight girls. They are the loveliest girls you can find. A good year it was!

I have picked lavender and hung it to dry in my studio. They will shrink when they dry up and I wouldn't be surprised if I only get enough for one bag or two...
