Nytt i butikken

I have listed some new totes in my shop.

It's summer all over now and I enjoy to be in my own world with my family and my projects. Work is getting further and further away in my mind. -With the result that I've even started to feel like cooking again. I used to love to bake and cook, but everything have been so busy lately.
Today I've been making pincushions. It's a great way to use the small fabric scraps that have grown to a big pile in my studio. I have printed a small version of one of my peony drawings on the fabric scraps. The lovely laces I use are very old. Made by my mums two single grand aunts who lived in Oslo and never got married. They made their income from sewing between the fingers on gloves for a glove factory. I have a small suitcase full of their work. It is my treasure and probably one of the first items I would rescue in case of fire.

Finally the summer holidays are here! I have been working so hard with exams and the end of the school year, and been so tired. But now's the time for lazy mornings eating outside and time to sew. Time to do fun things with my daughter. Time to pick lavender and hang it to dry. Time to care for the vegetable plot and do photoshots in the garden...
The first things I have to do is to clean my studio and fill the shop with new totes.

I printed a new design this weekend. I had some problems, so I didn't get many prints of it.
I had a wonderful, long weekend. My cousin was here and we spent hours and hours printing in the studio. Great!
