Weekend project

I have bought myself an overlock sewing machine. I had fun this weekend sewing a blouse/dress for my daughter. I made it from a vintage bed linen I have found at a flea market.

Today is my studio day. Moa is home from the nursery today playing and helping me out with the printing.
We are talking about making another dress in several different fabrics that she shall choose.

The pattern for the blouse is bought from Stoff og stil.
I have made a new screen this weekend. It has some old prints like Inger the hen and the cowgirl but also a smaller pouch-perfect version of my sheep and a star. I would love to have a star print on a t-shirt. The star might have turned out to be not so successful, though. So it is possible that it can't be used. I will find out soon...
Have a lovely week!

  1. Your little girl looks adorable in her new shirt.
I really like the pattern you chose. It's perfect with that fabric. I love the detailing around the neckline with the button.

  2. I am very envious of your Overlocker sewing machine!! I want want so bad, but then I feel like it would open up a whole new can of worms. That outfit looks great!

  3. Nydeleg kjole, trur det må vere det same mønsteret eg har brukt. Men den var så søt i det stoffet der! Tenker storejenta var fornøyd, ho ser slik ut:-)
